Apple Fritters

Apple Fritters 002

Apple Fritters 001

Apple Fritters 003

I made these yesterday for tea. These were extremely light and fluffy. They were slightly greasy but not as greasy as I thought. I found out, the hard way, that you have to wait for them to cool off before you can put the powdered sugar on. I got this amazing recipe from The Pioneer Woman. I found it funny that these were under the Breakfast section. =)

  1. Oooooh! Those look really good! :D

  2. Very interesting! Mom used to make these as a kid for their doughnuts. :) Have you ever made raised doughnuts?
